For those reading this article who may be new to the religion of Islam, there is a section below that may help you. It is essential to know how to pray the 5 prayers within the religion of Islam, this is because it is compulsory for prayer to be a part of every Muslim’s day to day lifestyle. It is also essential to know what to listen out for which begins the five prayers within the day. All of these prayers are different, however the Adhaan/ Azan (the calling for prayer) for them is the same. This is because the calling of prayer and the message is the same every time. Below is an example of it.

The Adhaan/ Azan was created in the early 1800’s as a call for all Muslims to come and pray. The Azan itself is a message to let all Muslims know that the prayer time is upon them. Many Muslims have devices in their homes that are connected to their local mosques. This help them get the same message without being in the mosque every time they go to pray. The local imam (the person who prayers) will usually do the Adhaan/ Azan for their local mosque.
